A corporate event or an anniversary is important for the company you’re working in. A great opportunity to show their employees how much they appreciate them is by giving rewards and freebies. Since it gives motivation and strengthens ties with the people, they open new doors for loyalties. Keep in mind that corporate gifts are not the same gift we give to our friends or families.

Here are a few guidelines:

Attractiveness

A corporate gift needs to be foremost, attractive. It should be good to display and boost confidence. This is important if you’re looking to gift someone a display piece. Employees will remember their achievements and life’s journey.

Practical

The gift you give should also be something practical not just as a display or figurine for instance. The gift can be a need or useful like a desk pal, USB hub, or Adapter Charger. Office supplies work best in this case, but a popular choice is electronic devices or gadgets.

Durable

Self explanatory. A gift falling apart straight down to trash bins and you don’t want that happen, do you?  Be thoughtful and sincere. Pick something that can take a fair amount of rough use. Affordable gifts don’t mean less durable. and likewise. before you buy, take some time to research, scan reviews from YouTube or an article for that specific gift.

Engaging

Display pieces and office stationery are good choices for gifts. It’s good to be creative and get engaging. Instead of buying expensive Legos, how about a stress toy for your colleagues? A fun electronic gadget, like a Bluetooth music cube with a battery, is a wonderful idea. They’d appreciate something like that and we’re sure of that.

If you’re giving a gift to your superior

When giving a gift to your boss superiors, it is important to pay extra attention to your gift. You want them to value what you are given without political agendas. A good wrapped, messy present won’t do. It’s also a terrible idea to get them something unuseful, meaningless and impractical. Don’t be afraid to spend a little more time to research. Get them a nicer gift such as nice pen or a clocks. Price isn’t the issue here as long as it will not hurt your budget.

If you’re giving a gift to your juniors or coworkers

For your hardworking juniors, there’s no difference the gift you are giving to your boss. Gifts should be beautiful, meaningful and useful at any areas. 360 degrees, no complaints! While packaging your gift is still nice and proper etiquette, focus more on the practical gift. Get engaging presents and affordable. If you are planning to give gifts on several people, list all the possible gifts you have. Again, budget.
